Adesina Media is not only a showcase for my print and web design, but also a collection of media that has inspired my work. In trying to keep an accurate representation of all that I have stumbled upon over the years, this site will frequently feature a seemingly random assortment of sights, sounds, images, and ideas.

The name Adesina is Yoruban for “The way is opened for more.” With my work, I strive to open the doors, the paths, and even the flood gates between design and technology. If they were the unrequited loves of our time, then I would be the matchmaker trying to bring their relationship into the light of day. Adesina Media continues to celebrate the marriage of design and technology, but with a distinct sense of humor and a dedication to best practices in new media.

About Me | Portfolio | Recent Work
Because man doesn’t live on work alone, I’ve decided to combine my musings from the kitchen and the darkroom into my more traditional portfolio presentation. I don’t ever think that we designers are one-note sambas in our work, and as such, I wanted to paint the full picture on Adesina Media. I heart pixels, bokeh and kosher salt in equal measures.

The Photography section is broken down into several galleries, most focused on my two favorite subjects – photo merges and flower macros. In the Kitchen, you’ll find the recipes and compositions that make up Adesina’s Cook-a-long.  All the offerings are social, friendly, and meant to be shared with those you love.  As such, you’ll find vegetarian and vegan alternatives for the carnivorous (ha!) offerings.

Rice Pilaf with Toasted Orzo

Rice Pilaf with Toasted Orzo

This pilaf takes ordinary converted rice and boosts it with a bit of toasted orzo. The little pasta grains impart texture, nuttiness and a lovely color to the dish – you get depth of flavor with really no additional work.

Cuba in Flower (Orchids at the NYBG)

Got a round with a bunch of lascivious faces at the annual orchid show at the New York Botanical Gardens – this year’s theme of Cuba in Flower.  The show was astounding not only in subject matter, but also in the architecture and layout.  Rarely do you get to walk into a greenhouse with walls [...]
